Inside this chest pounds a heart so steady.
Inside this head lives a brain so alive.
And somewhere in between rests a spirit so gentle, even the tiniest of scratches leaves a scar.

How would you describe your spirit, Dear Reader?
What inspires you? What shakes you to your core?
(Such easy questions to answer, I know!)

Deep questions. I don’t know how best to answer them
Haha. Iβm not sure, either! Hopefully they will spark some internal reflection for us all. π
I would describe my Spirit as animated, I am inspired by all the goings-on in nature i.e. the flora and fauna and what shakes me to my core is indifference.
Wow! I absolutely love this. Iβm currently enjoying an RV trip, and therefore enjoying the wonders of nature. And yes: indifference is a cruelty unlike any other. π
Beautiful post π¦πΈ. Questions that certainly gets you reflecting! Nature definitely inspires me and also calms my spirit (whatever my spirit is).. You have me thinking about it now ππ
Thank you, friend! I too, feel such a sense of calm when in nature. π
Wonderful post! Deep questions! <3
Thank you, Carol anne! They are definitely questions that may take awhile to answer. π
Wow, beautifully done!π
Thank you, my friend. π
That is a really beautiful picture!
My spirit is a cage fight between a Celtic war Queen, pure unbound love, and torrential fear that has been smashed into an inescapable nut shell. I’m inspired by acts of kindness and compassion, and I as a whole am shaken to the core (though my inner Celtic war Queen at least is not) by those who feel no concern at causing suffering in others.
I really enjoyed your prose, and those were very thought-provoking questions π
Thank you, my friend. And your comment is absolutely beautiful! I too, shutter at how callous people can be. Hereβs to spreading love and joy however we can. π
Love, joy, and kindness are very important to spread! And thank you for your kind words and reply! Wishing you a beautiful and joy-filled weekend, π
Same to you! π
Resilient. Thank you for asking.
And thank you for sharing, friend. Resilience is an amazing quality to have. π
That’s an amazing view
Thank you, friend! It truly was. π
My spirit is relentlessly positive. More so for others, and not in a pushy or overbearing way, but my spirit tries to embody kindness whenever possible.
Inspiration for me is found in listening to stories, and reading stories, and observing the world around me. The good bits and the bad bits.
What shakes me to my core is injustice.
Thank you for sharing, and asking these questions which encourage us to share. β¨
Thank you, Hamish! Keep your positive spirit, my friend. π
