Hiding beneath a blanket with my laptop, a mug of coffee, writing with a passion 😊
It sounds cozy and awesome! How often do you do it?
I try to once a week, but I’ve been so busy lately with the holidays.
the space between fertilization and germination; full of untainted promise and hope; where everything was nothing and nothing was everything; pre/real/eyes’d conception; dormancy.
The place of uncertainty? 🙂
that is all places, no? i imagined a place of rest, where certainty of uncertainty is never an anxious child tugging on its mother’s dress of Peace, seeking reassurance and acknowledgment of her existence, almost certainly a place of death. forgive my Dark, she’s just joining the convo as reminder to put my hands out and touch the wall sometimes 🙂
I just stopped smoking and I’m doing dry January, so nowhere at the moment 🤨🤨🤨 😂
Aww, Charlie… If instead of stopping you roll your own with pipe tobacco you’ll be skipping the 7000 chemicals that are doing the damage and gain all the other physical benefits (yes, you heard me) of smoking. Lots of personal experimentation and alt research behind this conviction and practice in my life — rave reviews from doctors , too. Twenty years. Happy to correspond w/ more info if there’s an interest. Take care bro
Thanks Ana, that may be worth considering when the month is up, and I’m not doing time for murder 😂
Congratulations! What determined you to do these changes?
Oh I just wanted to see if I could go for a month without a drink and also see if not smoking gave me better results when running 😀
This is a tricky one. I love being outdoors. My first thought is a certain spot on a deer lease my family was a member of when I was younger. My second place would have to be the comal river in Texas, then a beach or a hiking trail through wooded area.
What do you love the most about these places?
The sounds and sunshine 🙂
The beach. The hammock. At home.
What about the beach makes you happy?
Snuggled on the sofa with my children
Beautiful! How many children do you have?
2 young girls; 18 months and 3yrs
Cozied up on the couch with my dog laying by my side while I watch a show on Netflix or getting lost in another book.
Awesome happy place! 😀
In the middle of nowhere taking pictures
When I’m running.
What about running makes you happy?
The sense of control.
Either in front of a good book or in front of my computer.
What do you do at your computer that makes you feel free?
In nature: hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing (and downhill skiing today!)
So the adrenaline rush makes you happy? 🙂
More the fresh air and exercise.
My room lol
What do you do in your room that makes you happy?
Honestly, I wouldn’t say Its what I do in my room that makes me happiest, but more of the Environment that causes the thrill, mainly because of the fact It’s my room so I’m in charge, which usually isn’t the case anywhere I go. Idk I guess its a power thing haha
Piedmont Park, Atlanta
Is anything related with that particular place or you’re the happiest in nature in general?
My room after a busy day
Relaxation after a busy day is bliss 🙂
My secure home, as soon as I have one.
And until you have one?
Till then, my insecure chilly one.
Wherever with the apple of my eye, as long as she’s into me, too.
That’s beautiful 🙂
Writing on my laptop, my cat snuggled on my lap, at 2am on the balcony. Peace and quiet
Best time to think 🙂
My writing… because it’s take me another world…😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 where I am feeling much better…😉😉😉😉😉😉😊😊😊😊🤩🤩 🤩🤩 🤩 And free…😍😍😍😉😉😉😁😁😁😃😃😄😄😄😍😍😉😊😎😀
Awesome! 😀 😀
How often do you go?
4 times a week
Weekend mornings in bed when husband is still asleep and his arm is around me & I have a book & am reading & am all cozy & warm & safe, & content 😍💖
That sounds great! 😀
After the end of my classes. Who knew teaching could be so fulfilling. Imparting knowledge gives another sense of happiness. It’s simple unexplainable 😊
That’s great! I’m sure this reflects in your teaching skills and thanks to it your students enjoy your classes. 🙂
On a warm beach in the Pacific.
How do you feel when you’re by the ocean?
Peaceful and content.
That’s great! In what environment can you be like this?
When I am singing….
Gosh I have a few places: empty beach and empty mountaintop. Empty beach for the wave sounds and if that beach is on the bay, the sounds of buoys. I absolutely love buoy sounds. Empty mountaintop would be the sound of the wind and the damn fear of bears, mountain lions, and crazy people 🤣
So you love being around “wild” nature. That’s great! 😀
