I can read one extra page, write one extra line and spend one extra hour to learn something.
“The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.” – Jimmy Johnson
Really that is your priority?
That is what I want to get better at.
Have a good slumber. 🙂
That can always set the mood for better.
Not procrastinate. Do all the things that I’m supposed to do today so that I’m not playing catch up tomorrow.
Wear my blasted knee brace. Find out where my daughter keeps cleaning supplies. CUddle my grandson.
I’m sure you’ll have a better tomorrow if you do them! 😀
100% the plan!
Go to the gym!
I agree with that. Physical health is as important as psychical one.
Preparing for a healthy lifestyle is the game!
Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I made myself go! Thanks for the motivation!
There is little i can do today to make things better for tomorrow as I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, sooooooooooooo I will just live and enjoy today and deal with tomorrow when it gets here…
“I used to have all these plans and think ‘Ah, I have my whole life figured out’, but then I realized no matter how much I plan: life happens! So I find myself living day to day trying to do my best, embracing every moment as a learning opportunity and chance to get to know myself a little more.” Q’orianka Kilcher
Hope, Pray and work for it like hell!
There is that saying: Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
Remember to be spend a few more minutes thanking God
Practicing gratitude is always a great idea!
Stop reading Jordan Peterson and pick up Sam Harris instead (jk).
Ha ha! Good one! Why not both? 😀
Go to a meeting.
What kind of meeting?
An AA meeting. It keeps me from getting irritable, restless and discontent.
How long ago have you started to go to AA meetings?
By the grace of god, on December 6th, I’ll have been sober for 4 years.
That’s amazing! You are so damn tough!
Eat chicken soup. Think I feel a cold coming on.
Literally the best medicine for everything! 🙂
(well, almost everything)
In that case, start eating!
I’m supposed to be in bed in about 15 minutes, so not much. Though in general I would say be mindful.
Mindfulness is so important and something that is often ignored!
Great to see you care about it! 🙂
Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I guess you can be mindful in bed as well for a few minutes 🙂
I guess there are lots of things we can do so that tomorrow is better.
But the single best thing you can do is to PREPARE. To be prepared for that what is come means setting your life up to win in whatever you strive for.
Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I agree with you. The more prepared we are, the more likely we are to overcome whatever tomorrow might bring.
Get a full nights sleep. LOL
That is something I should do more often too. :))
The older I’ve become, the harder it is to sleep all night. I get five-six- hours max. Want 8-9 hours if my body and mind would allow it. LOL
Do you have any physical discomfort and that’s the reason you cannot sleep or it’s about all the thoughts that go through your mind?
Rest. I am trying to get over a bug. 🙁
That’s a step we sometimes forget to make. Or sometimes we might be resting too much.
There certainly is a balance.
Take out what I’m going to wear tomorrow so I won’t be rushing around in the morning trying to figure out what to wear so that I can ensure that I am out the door on time. 😃
That would be a very good strategy! Besides going out the door on time, you would spare yourself the stress of not being able to decide on time.
I love this answer! Yes, we should do our best every day.
Last night I employed some self-soothing and relaxation techniques so that I would be in a better frame of mind today when I get together with my daughter. She is under a tremendous amount of stress and I want to be in a positive state for her.
That is great of you! What are the reasons she is under a tremendous amount of stress?
Physical issues, relationship issues, children’s health issues, and work issues
That seems very tough… is there anything I can do to help?
Thank you. I am going to recommend your blog to her. Your content is very uplifting and may help her when her spirit is flagging.
Thank you! I also hope that it may help her.
Thank you. You are so kind. 😊
Enjoy my moments so they are sweet memories tomorrow
