What if I were completely at peace with who I am?
What if I were completely at peace with my past?
What if I were fully present?
What if I showed up for life as it stands?
What if I didn’t want anything different?
What if the things that scare me motivated me?
What if I embraced fear and uncertainty?
What if I didn’t take criticism personally?
What if I cared more about my actions than my feelings?
What if I lived in complete alignment with my values?
What if I understood my true worth?
What if I stopped doubting myself?
What if I believed anything was possible?
What if I cared about the small details as much as the bigger picture?
What if I really could achieve everything I set out to?
What if I became the man I mean to be?
What then?
Beautiful, AP2. The words that stand out for me if we did all those what if’s – we’d be brave, peaceful, and authentic. And also kick-ass!
We would indeed. That’s the aim even if I continue to fall short. Thank you Wynne ๐๐

good questions. i ask myself these all the times. ๐
Thank you Art. I often meditation on what if questions. I find them to be quite powerful – leaves your mind open rather than contracted when we try to force a particular frame of mind
We’re all a constant work in progress! Just when we think we’ve mastered one thing, life shows us something else we need to be working on. There’s no magic Utopia where everything is perfect, instead we live in the schoolroom where we keep learning and where our teachers remind us what we still need to learn!
Yes. This!!

Absolutely agreed Tamara. Expecting perfection is dangerous. I use the the what if questions more as a kind of meditation. I find them to be more powerful than simple affirmations. The question what if leaves the mind open and expansive – rather than contracted when we try to force a particular frame of mind. ๐
I like that line of thought! It is very helpful!
Love…especially this one…’what if the things that scare me motivate me’….wowza!
Thank you Victoria. I often meditate on some of these questions. I find them to be more powerful than simple affirmations. The question what if leaves the mind open and expansive – rather than contracted when we try to force a particular frame of mind. ๐
Yes, yes! More openโฆcheers to that! ๐
I meanโฆthat sounds good. Also, maybe a little boring ๐คช
Ha. Thatโs actually a great point. It would be boring.
As I was reading it, I was reminded of Kiplingโs classic โIfโ!
That’s a great poem! ๐
What if I embraced fear and uncertainty? This one scares me David, itโs so far away from who I think I am. What if I am not who I believe to be? Thank you for this thought provoking questions!
It scares me too! Thank you Cristiana ๐
Many, many good ‘what ifs’ to keep in mind…and yet some of them are a bit scary as well!
Hi Dawn! Thank you. Yes I have a habit of frightening myself. I appreciate your comment ๐
