One line from Dolly Parton’s New York Times obituary caught my eye, “In 2019, The New York Times ran a story with the headline “Is There Anything We Can All Agree On? Yes: Dolly Parton.”
I can’t claim to be a Dolly Parton super-fan. But I got a jolt of energy every time I saw her. Her positivity combined with her humor was always good for my day. So I curated a few Dolly Parton quotes in her honor:

“The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.” – Dolly Parton
“Find out who you are. And do it on purpose.” – Dolly Parton

“If you see someone without a smile today, give ’em yours.” – Dolly Parton
“You’ll never do a whole lot unless you’re brave enough to try.” – Dolly Parton

“Being a star just means that you find your special place, and then shine where you are.” – Dolly Parton
RIP, Dolly Parton! Thanks for the smiles and the shine.
