Don’t know yet. But learning isn’t always a choice. It sometimes happens without us even knowing
I agree and that’s for the best. But I also believe it’s helpful for us to boost the process.
Going to learn making foundation this week. I have been trying hard to find the perfect formula to make it at home. So the ingredients arrive in mail on friday and i just cant wait to start experimenting.😁😊
That sounds like fun! 😀
Awesome! What would you like to create with this new skill?
Quite a few things but right now I’m just trying to finish these shoes I’ve been revamping
What works (and doesn’t work) for my blog.
What have you found so far?
i plan on learning how to build a tepee for my guinea pigs..
I think you’ll have some fun while doing it! 😀
i am hoping so, fun is what is missing from my days
I’ll learn anything new by reading lots of posts!
Do that! You can also share the most interesting ones 🙂
I’m going to learn more and more, deep and deep about calculus… 😍
That’s great! What’s your motivation for this?
My motivation is me myself.. 😅
One of the best motivations out there!
And your question is interesting too.. 😇
I’m excited too about the answers 😀
I’m going to make a cheesecake with my support worker tomorrow, so will hopefully learn about that. It’s a baisc, no-bake recipe, but since I can’t cook or bake much at all, I look forward to it.
I’m sure you do. Cheesecakes are awesome! 😀
Whatever there is too learn.
I do too try to learn as much as I can whenever I can.
What it’s like to talk to the “rainmakers” of writing. I’ll get back to you!
learn not to get my emotions ahead of me
What do you do to learn that?
It’s interesting you’d ask this in the middle of summer when I expect many people would prefer to relax instead. Personally I intend to learn a little more about myself and my writing by reading academic books on literary criticism. (They’re there on my laptop so why not read them, except that they’re hell to go through.) I’m sure it won’t go as planned though. I find life tends to get in the way but I’m willing to learn whatever it intends to teach me.
What are you going to learn this week?
Life is surprising and things might not go as expected, but it’s ok. I’m in the middle of this book called Cognitive Therapy and I try to understand as much as I can from this author’s perspective. Also, since I’ve started writing my book, I try to find the most simplest ways to express the insights about how we are wired, the impact it all has on us, how and why we might need to change things about us.
Based on your posts and comments I’d say you already have a pretty clear and pleasant writing style. While I don’t necessarily agree with everything you post, you share valuable insights both from the books you read and your own thoughts. I wish you well in your literary endeavours 🙂
That book sounds cool. Hopefully I’ll find a way to access it.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m not at the level I want to be so I’ll keep learning. Please share your insights about my posts even if you don’t agree with me. I’m learning so much from comments.
I’m not too sure yet, but I have been reading an interesting book on EMDR therapy, so maybe something from that.
EMDR it’s a great technique. Let me know your thoughts if you try it.
Thanks for following OMBH! I hope you find a smile or three when you visit!
Now that I have your attention… how about having a look at my first collection of short stories… perfect to fill in the few leisure hours at your disposal! Great, thanks!! 😉
Thank you so much! I’ll check them out!
That’s great! How is it going so far?
