I removed some toxic people from my life..
Wow, that’s a big achievement! How did you do it?
Honestly, I don’t know how I did it but I know that it couldn’t have been possible without the help of my friends. It’s really hard to convince yourself even when you know the truth. But with time and the support of our loved ones we can learn to live with the truth and cherish life😊
I guess it’s even harder when you think you know the truth, but you don’t.
Hmm right… but then how do we know what’s exactly the truth?
That’s the question. I believe that starting with the idea that we might not know the truth, we’ll start searching for more info to get to a more complete conclusion.
picking myself up from absolute rock bottom. I now haven’t cried in over a week and feeling the best i have done for a while 🙂 what about you???
Awesome! For me, I think it would be this blog. I’m proud of it because it enables me to meet awesome people and also it helps me create a better understanding about the world I live in.
Travelling abroad by myself for the first time – I feel like it’s really helped my confidence😌
Travelling can be challenging. From where to where did you travel?
From the UK to Romania. I’ve travelled a lot before, but somehow everything is more stressful when you’re alone!
I’m from Romania! You had a business travel or just visiting?
Ahh no way! I was just visiting
But it was part of a volunteering scheme so I guess it was kind of work?
Yes, I guess it is a kind of work.
This was technically in December of ’16, but I’m so glad I graduated college. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into getting that diploma. After having to start over cause of a divorce, it was such a huge relief. I love the bookstagram community and I work at a bank now. A lot of ups and downs, but I made it 🙂
Yes, you made it because you’re strong! In what field do you have that diploma? Finance?
Being myself bravely
Sometimes it takes courage for us to be ourselves! It’s great if you did it! 🙂
Finally, writing a book that I’ve been working on since I was 16. That and getting 50 followers on my blog. I never thought anybody would be interested in what I wrote let alone 50 people liking it enough to follow.
That’s awesome! What is your book about?
In a nutshell, it’s about two siblings that go on an unwanted adventure with their father. Before they leave their home town stuff is already going wrong. This trip is supposed to bring them all together. They get on their private jet. But secrets and betrayals make it hard for the small family to have a decent conversation. The private jet crashes and their first to rely on each other for survival. Secrets are finally brought into the light. But this family has another problem those very secrets all tie to a mysterious organization. You have that mixed with clones, super human abilities, the battle within, explosions, the past, etc. And that’s it.
Very interesting! Congratulations! 😀
Starting my life and career over
That’s great! What changes have you made?
This year has been amazing. I graduated with my Associates, I published my first book, I started listening to my body and meditating.
What changes have you noticed since you start meditating? And btw, what is your book about? 😀
I’m a lot calmer and it takes a lot more to get to me. Its like it put a joy over me, and it takes a lot to get me.
And my book is about a woman who was a mistress for years and became pregnant. She left without letting the man know she was having the baby and the story is where she comes back to the area after four years. Its told in the views of her, the married man and his wife as reality about the this and domestic violence comes to light.
Meditation can help us releasing some tension we have gained in time. So when some “new tension” comes in, there is plenty of room for it so we don’t even stress about it.
It sounds like an interesting book. Congratulations! 🙂
I bought a house!
That’s a big achievement indeed! Congrats 😀
Helping my children as they continue to learn academics and life
Children always deserve our help 🙂
… To be determined? Ha ha! I just applied to go back to university. I’m in my mid 30s and have been at my job (that I dropped out of university FOR) for about 14 years… And I hate it. Ha ha! So, it’s time for a change and I’ve finally stopped complaining about it and I’m getting the ball rolling!
Better late than never! Get it done! 😀
Well, 🤞 for me getting accepted!! 💖🍻
Helped a guy when he was really broken and cried his heart out!!
Very nice of you! What did you do to help him?
He lives in a hostel. One day we happened to cross paths and like one thing leads to another we talked about random stuffs. That’s when i presumed that something was wrong with him. so i asked, and he cried his heart out. All he needed was someone to listen to him! At last he said, “Thank you, I admire you for everything. Completely indebted!” and then smiled.
Its just <3 feeling…
That moment was the world for him!
Inspired others about heaven…
Launched a new website at my place of employment.
Great! What is that new website about?
Been able to be a somewhat consistent writer at a small blog of mine!
Consistency can be hard to achieve sometimes…
Started to write again after almost 25 years. Slowly but surely improving and loving every minute of it
Wow, that’s a long time! What determined you to start writing again?
Had an opportunity to write for a website. Resisted and thought I’d be awful compared to others, but had a go after a few months of sitting it out. Just fell in love almost instantly with writing again. Find it difficult now to sit on my hands, working my ‘proper job’ and not writing!
Wish I hadn’t waited so, so long.
That’s great! As long as you’ve started again and you’re loving it, you’re on the right track!
Finally gathering my self together, letting go of toxic people (once thought to be very important), moving on just fine and even becoming a better person☺
That’s a very important step! How did you manage to let those people go?
I think I just looked at the brighter side without them.
That’s great! 😀
I wrote several manuscripts, the longest one was over 300 pages. I started it on December 31, 2017 and finished the first draft (which was almost 400 pages, but was edited down significantly) in one month. Then I wrote another, much shorter one where I tried out writing from the perspective of a child narrator. Writing is one of the only thing I am strongly motivated and when It’s not going well I’m in the depths of despair (as “Anne of Green Gables” would say,) but when it is going well it’s hard to think of much that’s more fulfilling. 🙂
Awesome! Right now I’m in the process of writing my book so I can understand how fulfilling and frustrating writing can be depending on how it’s going.
Cool! What’s your book about? (FYI, you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to, maybe you want to keep it under wraps until you finish it.) 🙂
In short, it’s about our thoughts influencing our lives. 🙂
