Coming out as transgender was a big one for me.
That was a brave move. How did people around you react?
The ones closest to me have been surprisingly accepting. It’s been awesome. I’ve been very lucky in that regard.
That’s awesome! It means that you’re surrounded with the great people.
The very best.

Thank you so much for your reblog! I really appreciate it! 😀
To leave journalism and go to the education field. My life is so rewarding now. For the first time I have a career and not a job.
Wow, that’s awesome! Are you a teacher?
I am. English instructor at a local college.
I’m so glad you made the change and now you’re doing what you love. Congratulations!
I broke of a very toxic relationship I had
How many years have you stayed in that relationship?
For four years
That must have been harsh… how are you feeling now?
Yeah it was the worst.
I feel relieved 😌
Kudos to you.
I did that too a while back. Realizing I am worth much more and stopped taking s***.
Wow that’s wonderful bravo to you to 🙂
Accepting Christ into my heart. My faith has gotten me through some very tough times during my teen years and into adulthood. I’m also very fortunate to have a very caring church family for counsel and support.
That’s great! 🙂
Giving my life to Jesus…
What determined you to make this decision?
Jesus is the only way to heaven, and there is only salvation in Him…
The decision to change to an even tempered person. I was so hot tempered in 2013 that
How did you managed to do that?
No matter how angry or hurt I might be, I make sure to pause before I talk or sometimes, I just smile. Now no one would believe I ever got angry because I’m so cool that they bring matters to me for settlement
Great strategy! 😀
The decision to change to an even tempered person. I was so hot tempered in 2013 that I destroyed a friend’s room for a minor offence. No one could believe the act of the that I was so ashamed and thought that anger could destroy the life I was trying to build
I decided to go to graduate school for a degree in library science.
That’s great! How is this going?
That’s nice. How may children do you have?
Becoming my own person, the person I was meant to be
How did you do it?
By listening to my inner voice and believing in myself. We each have our own power – we just need to learn how to use it:)
Yes, and sometimes that power is deeply hidden in ourselves so we need to do lots of digging first.
I made the decision to change my career path
Nice! What career path do you have now?
I made the decision to leave my abusive ex-husband. Saved my own life, but my girls suffered for it. I’ll never be able to erase that for them, but it was what had to be done for me and for them.
It must have been very hard for you to do it, but I’m glad you managed to take the step. Sometimes we need a wider perspective and lots of strength to do whatever it takes for a better life, even though it hurts like hell in the short run.
Deciding not to become a teacher after all. I had tried to squeeze myself into that role, but I just didn’t fit, and I was setting myself up for failure and heartbreak trying to fulfill a commitment I wasn’t designed for. If I hadn’t gotten out when I did, I wouldn’t be here, so I’m very glad I made the call. 😊
It was a great decision! What is the path you chose to follow?
I am pursuing writing and music (my two passions) these days, and am much happier for it.
Saying yes to Jesus and inviting Him into my heart and life.
When I let go the need to have other people’s approval, my life changed. It feels so good to be free from all the doubts and insecurities (most days).
Yes, I totally agree! When we stop searching for external approvals and we start searching for internal ones, our lives might change drastically.
Yes, this has led me to be vulnerable with people, very open. I am finding that such honest conversations leads to a peaceful relationship. Just putting myself out there has really released me from so much stress worrying about rejection.
Decision of being kind.. smile by spreading smiles and get Inspired by spreading Inspiration ✨❤😊
When you decided to do that?
It was some.. 2 years back
Hey! I understand this is somewhat off-topic however I needed to ask. Does building a well-established blog such as yours require a large amount of work? I’m completely new to operating a blog however I do write in my diary on a daily basis. I’d like to start a blog so I can easily share my personal experience and thoughts online. Please let me know if you have any kind of recommendations or tips for new aspiring bloggers. Appreciate it!
Hello there! Creating and managing the blog itself is easy. The work is in creating the content and getting in touch with the community. As recommendations, write what you love as often as you can and go visit and comment on other blogs.
