Where is home? It is a question that has been growing within me more, the older I become. My life has been greatly affected by politics, moving, and family patterns. This has given me a broader insight regarding life, the world and humanity, than most people around me. In this video, I am talking about where is home, my experience as a foreigner and uprooting from one country to another—life as an expat, immigrant or whatever you choose to call it.
“I know you’ve lived in many interesting places. It would be cool to see more blogs about your life experiences as an expat.” Troy Headrick replied when I commented on his post, ” The places that made me.” The comment from Troy and his post inspired me to create this post. There is so much more I could have said or touched on about uprooting, but for now, I will leave it with what I have already shared. I am very open to talking more about it if any questions arise while watching the video.
