A Messy Reflection from Yours Truly.
. . .
Greetings from my warm, bird-chirping corner of the globe, Dear Reader.
I’m in my bare feet, I have a tall iced coffee within reach, and approximately half an hour or so of solitude.
Here I am.
And, simply put, I’m a mess.
Top-knot hairdo. Disheveled clothes. Toenails that could use a precise and careful trimming.
Our kitchen sink is buried beneath a sizable stack of grease-covered cookery.
I’ve got towels to launder; a tub to scrub.
Friends and family deserving of my time and attention.
So. Many. Things.
So I guess the point of this Pointless post is to say:
I’m a human being.
And I do not have it all together.
Some days (most days?) I feel like I’m barely keeping afloat within these turbulent waters.
But I’m also enjoying the ride.
. . .
What gets you through the day, Dear Reader?
How do you balance it all?
What makes you human?
