  1. Such great nuggets of wisdom, here and on the original post. I absolutely love the Morrison quote. Almost makes me want to go write something!
Thank you for passing along one of my favorites with all these other favorites.

  2. The Emerson quote is brilliance
I don’t think people, especially on social media where opinions run amok, realize what they say reflects on them as a person
Intelligence is a loose concept on FB, but only the individual loses when they hurt their character and how others perceive them

    1. An incredible point, silversky87. Right! Social media does seem like a place where it’s easy to forget that everything redounds back to the person speaking. Great comment!

  3. I wasn’t able to write last night and I’m blaming it on you Wynne!!!! 🙂 Ha, ha, I’m just kidding, but let me explain. Since your post on quotes on writing, I’ve been spending way too much time searching the web for author quotes and writing advice. My favorites are the ones, like you’ve selected, that teach you something about the craft, but then also offer wisdom on life as well. These new ones are wonderful. Love them. I love too how they inspire. They inspire me to keep digging and working on my craft. Thank you!!!!!

    1. I love your perspective about learning about the craft and life as well. They go hand-in-hand, right? So sorry that the Internet is eating up your sleep time, dear Brian…. 🙂

  4. Permission to write badly- so true and so helpful!! We can apply that to many other things too 🤩
