Successful People – Peter Dinklage

You probably know this guy more for his role of Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones (here you can find out more about Peter). I think that he is a successful person because despite his physical deficiencies and despite the hard path he had in life, he knew what he wanted to do with his life and he eventually got there.

In my researching for Successful People I’ve noticed something interesting about almost all of them: they started very low, when they had almost nothing. That continuous pain for not doing what they truly wanted somehow raised a powerful motivation to make that leap of fate and go for it. It seems that an enough amount of pain can bring out surprising resources out of us.

You can find below a video made by Evan Carmichael with his view about Top 10 Rules for Success that Peter Dinklage applies in his life.

I chose him because his rules are a little different compared to other people. As always, I would love to see your opinion about this!

  1. I just posted on my social media about the same concept, I have f’d up many times but I’m still progressing with each mess up I learn something new

    1. That’s the most productive approach we can have about the times when we f*ck things up. At least, we might not f*ck up the same thing next time 😀

    1. I’m so glad that this helps you! I’m sure you’ve heard that it’s OK to fail, but this has a more personal note! At least, this is what I felt when I’ve seen the video 🙂

  2. Very inspiring post. Not certain ‘physical deficiencies’ is term I’d use to describe this man. It’s an asset in my way of thinking.

    1. Yes, of course he is. The idea is that he had a harder path because he looks different, but this didn’t stop him to go for what he loved.

  3. I have failed many times in my life. I have learned to fail well. When life knocks you down you have to pick yourself up again. Peter strikes me as brave, talented, determined and humble. I am a big fan of his work.

    1. And life is so good at knocking back so we need to become better at picking ourselves up! He’s amazing 😀
